AFoCR at the Czech House at SXSW 2026 in Austin

As part of its broader mission to strengthen Czech–U.S. relations, AFoCR supported Czech House and adjacent events as a key initiative in advancing economic and public diplomacy. The program provided a valuable opportunity to deepen connections between Czech and American stakeholders, promote entrepreneurship, and highlight areas of strategic cooperation.

AFoCR directors attending Czech House also had the opportunity to engage with several distinguished guests, including Deputy Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Karel Havlíček and U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic Nicholas Merrick. These interactions further underscored the importance of Czech House as a platform for high-level dialogue and relationship-building across government, business, and civil society.

Through its continued involvement, AFoCR remains committed to supporting initiatives that elevate the Czech Republic’s presence in the United States and foster meaningful collaboration across business, innovation, and culture.
