AFoCR is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, and was founded to advocate for Czech admission into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

For more than 30 years, AFoCR has been the voice of the American community supporting the Czech Republic, strengthening ties between both countries, and promoting democratic values throughout Central Europe.
