Visiting the CR

Visiting the Czech Republic can be an enjoyable and memorable travel experience--and it is easy to arrange. If you’d rather leave the planning to professionals, there are a number of agencies and organizations that book complete tour packages including transportation, accommodation and tours.

If you’d rather strike out on your own, see the What to See page. Then it’s easy to book your own flights and accommodations. Flights from a number of US cities connect to flights into Prague, the capital city. For accommodation, many hotel chains serve Prague, but if you’d like to choose your own and get more interesting options and value, then sites like VisitPrague.cz can be used to quickly find the various accommodation styles available in various price ranges and locate them on a map. Once you find the best option, the site provides for on-line direct booking of specific dates and rates.

VisitPrague.cz is managed by a Prague–based travel agency specializing in tourism to the Czech Republic and to Prague in particular. The site also can arrange for transfers, sightseeing tour guides, special programs, discovery tours all over the Czech Republic, tickets to cultural performances and local car rental. It also offers accommodation booking at locations outside of Prague.
